Well, as soon as we landed in Santorini, we hopped into the rental car as fast as we could and drove off to check into the hotel. Immediately after, we were greeted with a beautiful sunset. Seriously, the most beautiful sunset I’d seen in many, many years.

And it just kept getting better, and better. Almost surreal, and the photos looked photo-shopped right out of the camera.

It was a real shame that I had to do some work, so I sadly had to run back to the room. I was in a mad rush to get my work done so we could meet our friends Hannah & Tim for dinner. When I came back later, the sky was simply in a golden explosion, for lack of better words.

Just one of those days, point & shoot & beautiful.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is a sunset is never done until its properly done. Don’t think its over and run off, its impossible to know what the light will do at any given point!

A lot more photos to come soon… and if i ever get around to it, some video!
All shot on a Sony a7riv w/ the 12-24mm f/4 and canon 50/1.2 w/ sigma mc-11 adapter
