We went up on a day trip to Napa, and then down to the 17-mile scenic drive and Carmel-by-the-Sea which was a super quant little town! (And I didn't take a single pic there for some reason!). Thank you Dennis/Katie for housing us for part of the trip, and driving us around! They weren't even married yet then, and now they have two beautiful children. Oh, how time flies.
It's pretty rare I bother carrying a big camera to any events or when out with friends. But this was one of the times I did! Reece, who would a year later be our ring by at our wedding!
So this was a day-trip fly-in from Vegas. I was with a good buddy Mike - and to this day still have no idea why we decided to do a day-trip to the Canyons in the middle of a boy's trip
So we were married in the continental US in 2012. Unfortunately, we were still living apart at the time (My wife in New York, me in Tokyo). Also, we had just burned through a lot of our savings and vacation days on the wedding. It would have been a bit sad to split and back to Tokyo/NY right after the wedding, so we sneaked in a quick 4.5 day trip to Hawaii.
Mayan temple ruins & Star Wars
My trip to Tikal was part of my first trip ever to Central America. Somehow I never made it to the region until 2015...
